Auto accidents, Car accidents, Truck accidents, Motorcycle accidents are all happening around us. We try to drive our vehicles as carefully as possible but it is always the other drivers' that we have to worry about - right?
How else can we cope with the potential of an accident. Being aware of everything around you when you drive and not be distracted by cell phones, dvd players, gps systems etc. Of, course its easy for me to say all of this, but you know that what I'm writing is true.
Get rid of the distraction and the concentratoin is more on driving, and then being able to deal more speedily with the other driver's bad driving.

I got to go along on a shoot with Ray and Megan so of course I video taped it. They wanted to do something cool with this tunnel and it ended up pretty cool. 4 strobes, beauty dish, and a cold windy day in the tunnel.
A look at the contact sheets and what went right as well as what went wrong. We discuss the lighting and then process an image through Photoshop. Photographing a model on the beach can be more challenging than you think.

Taylor, Evan and I went down to Mill Ave in Tempe to take portraits of anyone we could find. We were there for an hour and we captured nearly 60 images. All we used was a ringflash for lighting and Taylor for snagging the folks walking by. Here is the result.
I had a lot of fun shooting with Cheyenne on a brisk winter day in Phoenix. You can see the sun coming in and out and me always metering for the new light... LOL, but you gotta know what is happening. We started in a cemetary and shot some 4x5. She is a wonderful model and a lot of fun to work with. Her Model Mayhem # is 535094. Thanks to Patrick for video taping when not being a great assistant.
