Auto accidents, Car accidents, Truck accidents, Motorcycle accidents are all happening around us. We try to drive our vehicles as carefully as possible but it is always the other drivers' that we have to worry about - right?
How else can we cope with the potential of an accident. Being aware of everything around you when you drive and not be distracted by cell phones, dvd players, gps systems etc. Of, course its easy for me to say all of this, but you know that what I'm writing is true.
Get rid of the distraction and the concentratoin is more on driving, and then being able to deal more speedily with the other driver's bad driving.

A man became trapped while trimming a Palm Tree in La Habra on December 13th 2008. When units arrived they found the man alive but trapped 30 up in the tree when the falling debri fell on him. He did live as the rescue took a little over an hour. These are usually fatal because of usually a a broken neck or back. He is pretty lucky to be alive.

This Chevrolet blazer hit a parked big rig and one party was ejected. Los Angeles County Fire requested two Air Squads for the other two critical patients that where transported to a Trauma Center via LA County Air Squad and Mercy Air. The victims of this collision where under the influence of drugs and alcohal.
A small aircraft lost power on December 14th 2003 and crashed into a house in a resedential in the city of Claremont. The people inside escaped without injury and the solo pilot was D.O.A.

Brush Fire breaks out in Tonner Canyon east of the 57 Freeway with Brea and LA County Fire on scene. A camp crew was flown in via helicopter to make a fast ground attack along with dozers and several water drops from they helicopters. This is some footage that was shot close up on the fire line as you will see.

This ultralight did a wing over and crashed into a dirt field. CDF responded and extracated the male from the aircraft and was then transported to a Trauma Center by Mercy Air, Air Ambulance
