Auto accidents, Car accidents, Truck accidents, Motorcycle accidents are all happening around us. We try to drive our vehicles as carefully as possible but it is always the other drivers' that we have to worry about - right?
How else can we cope with the potential of an accident. Being aware of everything around you when you drive and not be distracted by cell phones, dvd players, gps systems etc. Of, course its easy for me to say all of this, but you know that what I'm writing is true.
Get rid of the distraction and the concentratoin is more on driving, and then being able to deal more speedily with the other driver's bad driving.
At the Wings of Eagles Airshow in Batavia, NY 1996. Dale 'Snort' Snodgrass and John Ellis flew an aerobatic routine with the F-14 and F7F Tomcat, in addition to the classic Grumman Cat formation flight. As if that wasn't enough, Dale announced his arrival by sneaking up on the crowd as part of the Six of Diamonds formation.
At the twilight of their career, 3 F-106's of the Mass ANG out of Otis ANGB Cape Cod....opened the Barnes ANGB airshow on June 13, 1987. (Whats interesting is that the cockpit comm's can be heard over the PA. Listen to 'Slam' flight leader give instructions to #'s 2 & 3.)

Jerry Billing was a Spitfire pilot during WW2, and for many years flew MK923 on behalf of it's owner actor Cliff Robertson, at airshows across the US and Canada. Here Jerry is putting on a spirited display at Oswego NY on July 8, 1990.
