Auto accidents, Car accidents, Truck accidents, Motorcycle accidents are all happening around us. We try to drive our vehicles as carefully as possible but it is always the other drivers' that we have to worry about - right?
How else can we cope with the potential of an accident. Being aware of everything around you when you drive and not be distracted by cell phones, dvd players, gps systems etc. Of, course its easy for me to say all of this, but you know that what I'm writing is true.
Get rid of the distraction and the concentratoin is more on driving, and then being able to deal more speedily with the other driver's bad driving.
This is another segment I edited for The Chaser's War On Evertything. It was played on ABC America's breakfast show, Good Morning America some weeks back. I am glad that this one went down so well, as Craig and I were up till 2.30am in the morning editing it.
A segment that I edited for The Chaser's War On Everything. You might have seen it all over the internet, but it started life in my little Final Cut box.
One of the War On Everything's "Ad Roadtests", this time, for the Ford Focus. I had a lot of fun editing together the fishbowl and dog on top of the car sequences (I was fortunately didn't have to do the Jackie O bit). No animals were hurt making this, but that didn't stop the complaints, which is a testament to the trickiness of Brad, the director, and Doug, the effects wiz.
This segment was from our previous series CNNNN, and was a very popular forwarded email a while ago. It was shot in the USA and is a has a very funny twist.
A fake ad edited together for The War On Everything. It is meant to be a re-branding ABC Radio National's rather serious breakfast show, in the style of a rock radio station's promo.
This is a parody of The Sound Of Music. This was shot and finished in HD (720p on an Pana HPX 2100 if you care), but went to broadcast with the rest of the show in standard def.
This is some advance footage of our upcoming APEC Motorcade sketch. Tune in to the ABC on Tues at 9 too see it all. Or download the video podcast from www.abc.net.au/tv/ch aser/war
